Clinical and Medical Review Processes
At Green Springs Wellness, our commitment to clinical excellence is supported by two distinct but closely connected oversight processes: Clinical Review and Medical Review. Together, these functions help ensure that treatment remains individualized, evidence-based, safe, and responsive to each client’s needs.
Clinical Review
Our Clinical Review process focuses on the therapeutic aspects of each client’s care. This includes evaluating individualized treatment plans, reviewing progress in therapy, assessing the effectiveness of behavioral health interventions, and confirming that care aligns with established clinical best practices.
Led by experienced clinical professionals, including Joshua Sprung, the Clinical Review process helps ensure that treatment approaches remain personalized and appropriate for individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. As clients progress through treatment, their plans may be adjusted to reflect changing needs, goals, challenges, and clinical recommendations.
This ongoing review process supports a flexible and responsive approach to care, with the goal of promoting meaningful progress, emotional stability, relapse-prevention skills, and long-term recovery.
Medical Review
The Medical Review process complements clinical oversight by focusing on patient safety, physical health, medication management, and the medical components of treatment. Qualified medical professionals review relevant health information, medication protocols, physical health concerns, and medical interventions to ensure they are appropriate and support the client’s overall treatment plan.
This oversight may include reviewing health assessments, prescriptions, withdrawal-related concerns, co-occurring medical conditions, and any changes that could affect a client’s safety or progress in treatment. Medical professionals work alongside the clinical team to help ensure that behavioral health and physical health needs are addressed in a coordinated manner.
By combining medical oversight with individualized clinical care, Green Springs Wellness provides a more comprehensive approach to recovery that recognizes the important connection between physical health, mental wellness, and substance use treatment.
